Located at 508 E Chatham St, Cary, NC 27511, Omiya Motorsports Auto Repair and state Inspection operates as an auto repair shop serving Cary in North Carolina. Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 469-8665. Highly recommend this mechanic. Phil is awesome. He replaced my turbo and o2 sensors on vehicle. I had brought it to previous mechanic for a quote and Phil’s pricing was extremely fair. He was great with communication as well. Picks up his phone, and texts with updates. I will forever be his loyal customer.

Mr. Phil (the owner) is the best, most honest, and kindest mechanic I've ever worked with. As an ECU student who needed to service his Subaru (there are no Asian car independents in Greenville), Mr. Phil agreed to take time out of his Saturday, when he's normally closed, to help. He serviced my car, and then showed me everything he did and explained how to fix the upcoming serviceable parts on my own, knowing that I tinker with my car. He charged me the best price I've ever paid at a mechanics' and even gave me an energy drink for the drive back to Greenville to make sure I got home safe. It goes without saying he's a talented mechanic, and I hope this goes to show the kind of man is. I've been recommending Omiya to friends and family from then on, thank you so much for your help Mr. Phil!

Phil is awesome! He's a real car guy. Gets the job done right, fast and reasonably priced. I'm very particular about who I have work on my car and I trust Phil at Omiya.

Took me a while to finally decide leaving a review. I normally just ignore things like this, but I think people should know. It all started out great with Phil. I was impressed with the service and care for my vehicle. As I continued to return to have parts put on, it went downhill. Initially I got an upgraded water cooler installed on my car and he did great. I then got up-pipes put on and those bolts fell off resulting in an exhaust leak. When I took it to the muffler shop, they said all the bolts were loose. After a while, I brought my car in to have an LSD installed with a rear sway bar. He put the sway bar on upside down and when he installed the LSD, one of my axles started leaking diff fluid on the seal where it went into the LSD. So, he had to re-do that. Afterwards when he replaced it, he damaged the axle upon removal and then charged me for it. I told him I didn't think it was reasonable for me to pay for his mistake. Which is now the 3rd time something was messed up. His said to me, "Well, at least I told you about it instead of just putting it back in." What kind of response is that? Anyhow, I told him that I would pay for it as long as he helped reimburse me for future

Phil was great to work with. Very professional and thoughtful, reasonably priced. This is my go-to car shop from now on.
